I do definitely want children. I would for sure want to have at least one of my own through IVF, but I am also very open to adoption. I know a family who adopted a little girl, and I think it is absolutely amazing!! I would never adopt a child who is not a baby though, I think it is too difficult, at least for me. I would like at least two, maybe three children. Maybe more depending on how I felt with that many! I will not have children until I am financially ready though, I don't think it is fair. Neither of my parents are financially stable, and it really sucks.

Response: I want to have children of my own, some day. I am also open for adoption if circumstance permits.

I am straight, to be honest, I don't think it's exactly healthy for gay couples to have children. It may lead to confusion when the kid is growing up. However, what's most important is that the kid being given enough education, attention and love.

Response: I would actually like to have both one child who is adopted and another who is my own...of course i would understand my partners needs to have a child who is his own as well so three kids would probably be my max. But a kitty named Edward will do for now!

Response: Children are fine, though not for me.  I'm gay, been with the same partner for almost 12 years. Neither of us want to have human children. - We do love our two canine children! :)

Response: would love children, but tbh in mixed minds about how. depends how society views gay adoption in the future. also depends on if there's a suitable surrogate mother. but, in principle, i think raising a child could be a magical thing.

Response: Twin boys: Dillon Kyle and Dayton Mark. I picked the first names out years ago, but only in the last of, five years or so I guess picked out the middle names. Dillon is my maternal grandfather's name, and Dayton is my middle name, so I won't budge on the name thing. Will it ever happen? I seriously doubt it. On a medic's salary, it is hard enough to make ends meet some times, put a child or two in there and you can forget it.
I always swore to myself that I would never have a child unless I could provide better than I grew up, financially, I had more than enough love.
If I was a straight boy I am certain I would have knocked some girl up by now and would have a little man, or little lady running around controlling my life by now. Probably more than one. Thank goodness my partner can't get pregnant!
The long and short of it I guess is. I will have no child to pass my estate to, my personal heritage will stop with me.

Response: They probably taste good. Children are aliens. I do not get them at all. Don't think I ever really was one.  I'll take them after about 12 when they can be reasoned with.

Response: Yes, I'll have children, but later in life. IVF, for sure. I have a progeny imperative. As far as I'm concerned I'm far too selfish to have children now... and I won't be ready for them until I can say with absolute certainty that I'll be able to provide the absolute finest of everything for them. With any luck this means a full-time staff from day 1.

annoying / loud / pests BUT they can
also be sweet / adorable / fun ...

i'd like to have children (minimum 2)
of which, have to be from my own
blood. this is if ... *shocker* i was
in a straight relationship!

i probably wouldn't have kids if i were
in a same sex situation ... for a reason
i don't know of ... i guess it depends
on the other partner ...

Response: Yes, I am gay, and I absolutely want to have children. Although I would definitely *want* one of my own genes, there are many children out there who need a home that I will be more than willing to adopt. The only thing stopping me right now is that I want to be more financially ready for a child.
